Packing (Healthy) Kid’s Lunches

While visiting family in Oregon I opted to make my niece & nephew’s lunch for school. It was so much fun for me to think of creative ways to pack their little lunch boxes full of nutritious goodies for them! I made them gluten free (but of course didn’t tell them that!).

What was in their box:
3-4 slices of organic ham
dollop of hummus
handful of baby carrots
handful of gluten free flax crackers
3 “ants on a log” (celery with organic peanut butter down center with raisins)
1 organic string cheese
1 tangerine
snack bag of raw almonds with a handful of Enjoy Life chocolate chips
a love note from me because all food is better when it’s packed with Vitamin L
