4-Ingredient Chicken Nuggets

Have you ever looked at the ingredients in store-bought chicken nuggets (let alone look up what’s in the nuggets at fast food restaurants)? It’s a long list of nonsense that’s harmful to you and your kid’s health. Here is a super simple way with a handful of ingredients to make your own chicken nuggets – free of all of that nonsense!

I no longer make just one batch of these. I double, if not triple this recipe to make a few baking sheets full of them because everyone in my house loves them so much. They are great for a quick and fun dinner, awesome bites of protein to pack in lunchboxes, and perfect to freeze to take out on a night you don’t feel like cooking. Experiment with different dips and sauces to make things even more fun!

CHICKEN NUGGETS
Ingredients:

1lb organic ground chicken
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 large (or two small) eggs
1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix well and spoon out 1-heaping teaspoon of mixture on a parchment lined baking sheet. Using clean hands, shape each piece to a nugget-shape. Bake for 10 minutes – flip – then bake for another 10 minutes (or so). Bake until nuggets are crispy and golden on top.

*To make the nuggets have a crispy coating, dust baking powder over them before baking.
