Everything Salmon

Are you a lover of Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel spice? I seriously cannot get enough. I use it most for my avocado toast, but love this salmon recipe, too!

4 salmon fillets, skin on
About 4 tsp Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel spice
Sea salt and pepper
1 ½ Tbsp ghee or extra virgin olive oil

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, place Everything But the Bagel spice.

  3. Generously sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper and press skinless side into the “everything” seasoning mixture to coat.

  4. Heat oil in a large oven-safe heavy pan (I use my cast iron for this recipe) over medium-high heat.  

  5. Add salmon seed-side down and sear 3-4 minutes. Flip salmon. 

  6. Transfer pan with everything salmon into oven and cook 6-7 minutes, until fish is fully cooked. If salmon is flaky, it’s likely overcooked and dried out. Salmon should give way and pull apart into pieces when you press the knife into it.

  7. Serve right away. Pictured here, I served with sauteed broccoli and sweet potatoes. Yum!
